Rent in NYC
With the Great Depression just right around the corner, do you think rent for SRO's will come down or stay at their present levels? Thanks to the great depression I just might be able to afford that swinging bachelor pad I've always wanted in the East Village. Sure I'll have to stand on breadlines and rely on hand-outs when all employment drys up thanks to big business and corporations, but by golly I will be in the east village. Besides I hear the soup is better downtown than uptown!
