I'm sure anyone who visits this site could look up this info, but maybe not everyone here has considered doing it!

Growing corn!

If you have a lot of room, grow a lot of corn! If you don't have a lot of room, practice growing a stalk or two in a large flower pot! Even one ear is worth it! The experience alone can give you insight into the reality of our ancestors. Once you realize how difficult growing corn can be, imagine trying to grow enough to feed 10 people for a year.

Or, even better, go to a local farmer and see if he will sell you a pound of seed. You might even get some growing tips while visiting!
