Candlelight Vigil

Against Fracking and Pipelines!
Monday, October 29, 2012 - 5:30pm
Candlelight Vigil
On Monday, October 29, citizens across New York State will gather to celebrate clean water, the sanctity of the Earth, and our resolve to defend the planet and ourselves from deadly fracking and pipelines.

Here in the West Village, we will turn our focus to the beauty of this historical neighborhood and the Hudson River, currently under assault by construction of a gas pipeline, and ask for protection.

The evening will consist of:
-Nondenominational/Interfaith spiritual gathering from 6:00 - 6:45
-Candlelight march arriving at the Spectra Pipeline construction site at 7:00 where the Reverend Billy will "cast out the devil that is Spectra!"

Sponsored by Sane Energy Project, Occupy the Pipeline, and New Yorkers Against Fracking.
