In advance of our nation's Independence Day, The Church of Stopshopping and others staged a patriotic picnic at Union Square Park, inviting people to come in red and white and blue and break bread with their fellow citizen. The picnic attracted hundreds of people before ritually planting a park on the sidewalk of one of the developers of the restaurant.
