Every year on Black Friday, my whole family puts on Santa hats and we brave the crowds in shopping malls in order to spread Christmas cheer. People can be disgustingly stressed out and unfriendly this time of year, when we're all meant to be the opposite. We wear our hats and make a point of bringing a smile to the face of all passersby. I love this family tradition, even though I see that it probably doesn't quite fit in with the doctrine of the church of life after shopping.
