Yes I feel a distance between us, as if the air between our bodies has been pumped up and we are farther away from one another in all directions, we're even lonely in a crowd. Of course it's the cells and blackberries and ipods but its something more than that too... This is an almost mystical accusation and hard to prove, but I make this observation from how we communicate now. I believe the corporations seek this isolation so that we will turn to their mediation (their products) to try to create connection.
