I'm glad to see this. We have always had to deal with the cuddly community image Macy's cultivates here in NYC, with its T-giving parade and the famous store window displays. But then they have destroyed so many neighborhoods across the country as the prestigious anchor store in super malls....
Then immediately the next hope is that the local economies can take back their own Main Streets as the big boxes go dark. I'm encouraged by the news that records numbers are joining community credit unions...
