June 6th Rally in Union Square

The Story of Union Square – a rally of hundreds in which actors representing Emma Goldman, Lucy Parsons, George Washington, Paul Robeson read from their speeches and extemporized on the subject of democracy and the First Amendment.  There was a mass reading of the First Amendment and we encircled the pavilion with life size cardboard versions of the historical figures.
